    This blog explains the specialist lecture “Skills for the Future: Navigating the 21st Century” given by Dr. Sahdev Luhar. In this talk, it was emphasized that in today’s rapidly changing world, book knowledge alone is not enough—learning new skills is very important. Skills like critical thinking, creativity, communication, and teamwork were highlighted. 

☆ Dr. Sahdev Sir showed that students need to stay relevant in an age of technology, media, and information overload by practicing continuous learning and adaptability. The session was interactive, and students asked questions, which made the topic easier and more understandable.  ● At our college, an inspiring expert lecture was organized on the subject “Skills for Future.” In this lecture, it was explained that in today’s fast-changing times, a degree alone is not enough; various practical skills are also very necessary. 
 ● The speaker especially explained the importance of skills like Communication, Critical Thinking, Creativity, Problem Solving, and Teamwork. In today’s digital age, technology and digital knowledge have also become very important. 
Key Skills Covered in the Lecture:
1. Learning Skills (4 C’s)
These include Critical Thinking, Creativity, Communication, and Collaboration. These skills help students learn new ideas and solve problems. 

 •2. Literacy Skills (IMT)
These are Information, Media, and Technology skills. These skills are necessary in the digital age to find correct information and use technology properly. 

•3. Life Skills (FLIPS)
These include Flexibility, Leadership, Initiative, Productivity, and Social Skills. They are very important for success in both personal and professional life.
  ●The students were advised to keep learning new things, keep themselves updated, and accept change. Many examples and inspiring ideas were presented during the lecture, which made the subject simpler and more interesting. 
This lecture proved to be not just informative but also directional for the future for the students.
